Max Rubin, a graduate of UNLV’s College of Hotel Administration, is a 38-year casino veteran, gaming consultant and former professional gambler who has enlightened and amused millions of readers, television viewers and live spectators with his unique insights into the psychology of gamblers and the casinos that serve them.  

Widely regarded as gambling’s most savvy broadcast and print analyst, Rubin is one of only eight living members of the Blackjack Hall of FameÔ as well as the perennial host and game master of the Blackjack Ball, a top-secret gala featuring the world’s best blackjack players, who annually meet to compete for the title of “World’s Greatest Blackjack Player.”  

The award winning author of “Comp City—A Guide to Free Gambling Vacations,” and countless consumer and trade articles, he is a featured speaker at numerous gaming and marketing symposiums and has consulted for dozens of American corporate casino properties, including Mirage Resorts, Harrah’s, Hilton Casinos and a variety of Native American and International gaming operations and now consults exclusively for the Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino in San Diego, CA.
